CARE INFORMATION
Embellishment Care
Each Izaak Azanei piece is hand-finished with care, including any embellishments. To preserve their integrity, avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairsprays or harsh chemicals. We recommend storing embellished styles flat or hanging them with tissue to prevent snagging or pressure marks. Please handle with care: delicate detailing is what makes each piece unique.
Cashmere & Knitwear Care
Pilling is a natural trait of high-quality cashmere and is not a defect. As the fibres settle with wear, you may notice some soft bobbling - this can be gently removed using a cashmere comb or de-pilling device. Avoid over-combing, as this may weaken the yarn. To store, fold your knitwear neatly and keep it in a cool, dry space away from moths and humidity. Knitwear should never be hung, as this may cause the garment to stretch or lose shape.
Fur & Faux Fur Care
We proudly use origin-assured fur from Saga Furs - a globally recognised auction house known for its commitment to sustainability, animal welfare and traceability. Izaak Azanei is proud to have the prestigious Saga Furs label in its products. Natural fur may display slight irregularities in colour and texture - these are features, not flaws.
Avoid exposing your fur to direct sunlight, moisture, or heat. If your garment becomes wet, allow it to air dry naturally and avoid using heat to accelerate the process. Only professional furriers should handle cleaning.
Upon receiving your fur or faux fur garment, remove it from packaging and place it on a wide, structured hanger to allow the fibres to settle. Gently run your fingers through the hairs to restore their direction. A few days of hanging will help the texture return to its natural state - this is especially true for faux fur.
If loose hairs or fibres are present, they can be removed with a lint roller or by hand. Some shedding is expected and is a normal part of the fur production process. Avoid spraying cosmetics or perfumes directly onto the fur, as this may cause stiffening or matting of the fibres.
