TBH keto or not, I’m game for ANY pizza recipe. This one just happens to be keto and it tastes deeeeelish too!
Ingredients for the Dough:
2 x cups of grated mozzarella
2 x tablespoons of full fat cream cheese
1 x cup of almond flour
1 x egg
1 x teaspoon of garlic powder
Method for the Dough:
Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees.
Microwave 2 cups of grated mozzarella with 2 tablespoons of full fat cream cheese for 50 seconds.
Remove from microwave and add in the almond flour, egg and garlic powder and mix very well (as the mixture is sticky, we recommend using a plastic glove).
Once mixed, place on baking paper and place another piece of baking paper on top (so it’s sandwiched between 2 pieces of baking paper) and roll out.
Once the desired shape has been rolled out, bake for 12 minutes at 180 degrees.
Ingredients for the Sauce:
2 x tablespoons of avocado oil
1 x clove of garlic
4 x tablespoons of tomato paste
2 x tablespoons of boiling water
1 x squeeze of honey
1 x pinch of salt
1 x pinch of pepper
1 x teaspoon of paprika
1 x teaspoon of garlic granules
Method for the Sauce:
Heat the avocado oil on a low / medium heat with the clove of garlic to flavour the oil (you may remove the clove once the sauce is ready).
Add the rest of the ingredients and keep mixing.
Once the pizza base is out of the oven, top with your sauce & toppings and place back into the oven for a further 12-15 minutes.
